The Alchemy Space

What is Alchemy?

What is Alchemy? Traditionally, alchemy was the medieval practice of transforming base metals into gold — a mysterious blend of science, art, and mysticism. Over time, the word has come to mean the process of profound transformation: turning something ordinary into something extraordinary and revealing hidden potential within. At The Alchemy Space, alchemy is both our name and our mission. We believe in the art of transformation — in ourselves, in our community, and in the world around us. Through movement, creativity, connection, and holistic well-being, we nurture the process of evolving together, elevating what already exists, and creating something entirely new.Show More

Assisted Stretching

Jenay Aiksnoras, E-RYT500, M.S. Counseling has been teaching Yoga since 2005. Jenay's story began on a farm in Connecticut. She grew up actively engaging outdoors. When she moved to Boston for college, her love of the outdoors drew her to her school's outing club. A class audit during her undergraduate studies introduced her to the practice of yoga, untimately helping her discover the key to reducing physical pain and feeling well while playing outside. At that time there were few places to practice. She explored various studios and lineages including svarupa, vinyasa and Iyengar. Through consistent practice, Yoga asana helped to heal back pain resulting from bulging discs and scoliosis. It wasn't until she began practicing in New York with Amy Pearce-Hayden that she truly began to understand the depth of yoga. Jenay believes that asana, like every limb of the eight (Asta Anga) is just one aspect of the practice. To access Yoga you must address the entire system. During every practice she guides you'll be directed to engage in svadhyaya, consider sankalpa and connect with your Self.Show More

Ayurveda

Sage Ardas is a holistic healer, advanced health coach, and energy worker offering a deeply integrative approach to wellness. Her work weaves together reflexology, cupping, and energetic alignment to elevate, balance, and harmonize the body’s natural frequencies. Drawn to family and community wellness, Sage began as a postpartum doula before earning her Master’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine in Oakland, CA. Her studies and travels through China and her exploration of herbalism, Ayurveda, homeopathy, Kundalini Yoga and Tibetan medicine deepened her understanding of the universal principles of healing and guided her back to her ancestral lineage of healers. In her years practicing in a bustling downtown clinic, Sage discovered her passion for reproductive health, fertility, and wellbeing. Her master’s thesis focused on a healing protocol for PTSD, inspired by personal loss and her desire to support veterans, mental health and trauma survivors. After a long, difficult birth left her with mobility challenges, Sage’s own healing journey took on new depth. Through a blend of physical rehabilitation, energetic medicine, and ancestral guidance, she reclaimed her strength and purpose. Now a devoted mother of two, Sage’s work centers on optimizing the body’s natural cycles, awareness and understanding hormones, honoring postpartum recovery, and empowering others to reconnect with their innate rhythm of healing and finds deep fulfillment in supporting her community.Show More
