Intuitive, warm, humorous, and grounded are words others have used to describe me. Born and raised near the Santa Monica mountains of Southern California, my path has included a variety of experiences that influence how I show up in the world. I hold a master's degree in counseling psychology and have nearly a decade of experience as a therapist, working with youth, families, and individuals in community-based settings, schools, and foster care. Additionally, I ran a professional birth doula business. Currently, I work as a life coach, helping others "birth" their authentic selves. Before this, I lived in Northern New Mexico, where I helped establish school gardens and implemented environmental education programs. When I'm not working, I can be found hiking, practicing yoga, dancing, engrossed in a creative project, or simply cradling a cup of coffee and taking in the view of the pine trees outside my home in Truckee.Show More

Myofascial Release

I began dancing in a studio when I was 3 years old, and embodiment has been my saving grace through childhood neglect and trauma, 2 divorces, loss of children, domestic violence, sexual assault and more. Many times in my life I didn't quite know how I could go on living, or if I wanted to. Every time something expansive and full of light would anchor me into the path of choosing life and choosing myself no matter how difficult the uphill climb seemed. After persevering so many challenges in my life, I am devoted to supporting others in their path back to self-love, peace, joy, and wholeness. My love for dance translated into a love for studying the human body, psyche, and spirit/soul and I have been on an epic journey of deep study and education to better inform my healing path and those I assist. I am a life-long learner and will continue to dive into spaces and places where I can continue to learn and expand. I am a 500 ERYT Yoga Instructor and Facilitator, have a Pre/Post Natal Fitness Emphasis, am certified in myofascial rolling and release, love supporting cycling beings and girls and women, and the masculine who wants to learn to support women and children. I am a beautiful blend of practical and esoteric, weaving my intuitive magic and vast array of skills and lenses to help the individual drawn to work with me. Whether you need help in the physical plane with your body and sexuality/sensuality, your mind/thoughts and how to interact with others and the world, or are feeling stuck in spiritual/soulful realms, I've got you.Show More

Vinyasa Yoga

I currently live nestled among the mountains of the Sierra Nevada, where my connection to the natural world continues to shape both my life and my work. I grew up in San Francisco and was educated in the Waldorf tradition, where a deep appreciation for nature, creativity, and holistic learning was cultivated early on. This foundation guided me to study Psychology and Adventure Education at Prescott College, blending my curiosity about the human psyche with experiential, nature-based learning. My path has included guiding outdoor expeditions for youth, teaching art and English to young people abroad, and supporting at-risk youth through nature-based therapeutic experiences. Across these spaces, I witnessed the profound impact of presence, mentorship, and connection—to self, to others, and to the natural world. These experiences shaped my passion for creating spaces where individuals can reconnect with their inner strength, authenticity, and sense of aliveness. Today, I continue to live and work close to the natural world, drawing inspiration from movement, breath, creativity, and the outdoors as pathways for healing, self-discovery, and empowerment.Show More

Assisted Stretching

Jenay Aiksnoras, E-RYT500, M.S. Counseling has been teaching Yoga since 2005. Jenay's story began on a farm in Connecticut. She grew up actively engaging outdoors. When she moved to Boston for college, her love of the outdoors drew her to her school's outing club. A class audit during her undergraduate studies introduced her to the practice of yoga, untimately helping her discover the key to reducing physical pain and feeling well while playing outside. At that time there were few places to practice. She explored various studios and lineages including svarupa, vinyasa and Iyengar. Through consistent practice, Yoga asana helped to heal back pain resulting from bulging discs and scoliosis. It wasn't until she began practicing in New York with Amy Pearce-Hayden that she truly began to understand the depth of yoga. Jenay believes that asana, like every limb of the eight (Asta Anga) is just one aspect of the practice. To access Yoga you must address the entire system. During every practice she guides you'll be directed to engage in svadhyaya, consider sankalpa and connect with your Self.Show More

Spiritual Healing

My path into healing work was deeply personal, as I'm sure most of us share this sentiment. For much of my life, anxiety was a constant companion, along with periods of depression, numbing, and the effects of a childhood marked by instability. Like many who step into this work, the journey began with a simple desire to understand why certain patterns felt so difficult to change, and more importantly how to begin the shedding of these outdated stories and negative looping. Over time, that search led to deep inner work and eventually to hypnotherapy and subconscious healing. These approaches revealed something powerful: many of the struggles people carry live beneath conscious awareness, within the nervous system and subconscious mind. When those deeper layers begin to shift, lasting change becomes possible. What inspires this work mostly for me is witnessing the moment someone realizes they are not broken and that the patterns holding them back can soften, shift, and transform. Because beneath the anxiety, overwhelm, and coping mechanisms, there has always been a whole and capable part of us waiting to be remembered. At its heart, this work is about one simple truth: people are far more capable of change than they have been led to believe.Show More
