I am Katie Rose.
I am Katie Rose. I learned early that the land speaks in stones, feathers, leaves, and soil—if you take the time to listen. Childhood curiosity became devotion, and devotion became study: UC Berkeley, Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute in Panama, GUMP Research Station in French Polynesia, Charles Darwin Research Station in the Galápagos, the Leibniz Center for Tropical Marine Research in Germany. Across continents, I witnessed the subtle conversations between humans and the earth—the pulse of life beneath our feet, the wisdom that flows through water, wind, roots, and wings. I returned home to Big Sur, to the place that first shaped me, to weave science, ancestral knowing, and lived experience into Woven Herbs, an education tea business that weaves our wild native medicines into healing teas, helping my community learn to recognize that medicine grows abundantly and wildly, and is here for us, always. Here at Woven, healing is a remembering. Remembering the rhythms of our bodies, the medicine of plants, bees, and minerals, the quiet intelligence that whispers beneath habit, depletion, and forgetting. With Woven Herbs, I work with plants—herbalism, foraging, tea ceremonies, herbal astrology readings, forest bathing, wilderness therapy, guided foraging hikes—learning their language, their medicine, their ethics of reciprocity. Independently, I work with bees—apitherapy, hive stewardship, bee medicine, dreaming with the bees—receiving their teaching of harmony, vigilance, devotion, and reciprocity. I work with cycles—new moon and full moon ceremonies, women’s circles, menstrual cycle coaching, womb wisdom tea blends, seasonal rituals to honor equinoxes and solstices—inviting the body to remember its innate rhythm and connection to the unseen forces. I work with reflection and guidance—dream therapy, life and health coaching, nature therapy—holding space for insight, integration, and gentle transformation. I witness the softening of chronic stress, the restoration of sleep and digestion, the release of dependence, the return of energy and clarity. Healing emerges as relationship: to self, to land, to breath, to the threads that connect us all. It is an honor to hold ceremonial space within Healer Hive, to walk alongside those who seek to root back into vitality, rhythm, and belonging, and to remember, together, that medicine is all around us, alive, and generous.Show More

Forest Bathing
I was born and raised in a small town in Poland, surrounded by forests and farmlands. My childhood was a tapestry of outdoor adventures—summers spent in my grandpa’s gardens picking fruits and vegetables, climbing trees with my friends, swimming in the lakes, hiking mountains, camping, foraging for mushrooms, and rescuing injured birds and stray animals. These experiences deeply rooted my connection with nature. In my twenties, I moved to big cities, and my bond with the natural world waned. However, life brought me to the beautiful Tahoe area, where I am now raising my two teenage children. Over a decade ago, after the loss of my father and a challenging separation, I faced a period of profound struggle. It was during this time that I discovered yoga and found solace in nature. The teachings and practice of yoga and the solitude of hiking were my lifelines. These experiences sparked a deep curiosity about the impact of nature on the human mind, body, and soul. I immersed myself in learning and became a certified Nature Therapy Based Interventionist through Somatic Nature Therapy Institute and a Forest Bathing Guide through Alma Oasis. I am also certified Wilderness First Aid. Additionally, I received yoga teacher trainings from Sivananda Yoga Farm and Alaya Palisades Yoga, and I am a certified kids yoga teacher through KAY.Show More

CHEK Practitioner | Integrative Movement Specialist | Holistic Lifestyle Coach I grew up as an athletic kid who was always injured, bouncing between physical therapists, feeling frustrated that no one could explain the root cause. Everything changed when I completed my YogaWorks 200hr training in 2017, which taught me how breath, proper muscle activation, and nervous system regulation shape the way we move and work through the growing pains of life in a healthier way. That foundation deepened during my four years ski instructing in Keystone, CO, where I analyzed hundreds of bodies and learned how to teach movement with clarity, safety, and intuition. In 2020, I became a NASM Personal Trainer, but I knew I needed something more comprehensive. That’s when I found Paul Chek and the CHEK Institute. For the past three years I’ve been immersed in corrective exercise, functional movement, holistic lifestyle coaching, somatic work, and emotional-root-cause healing. I’m currently awaiting my HLC Level 3 certification and completing Integrative Movement Science Level 3 February 2026. My mission is simple: Help you feel strong, balanced, and pain-free so you can live the life you love. From chasing the kids to playing adult soccer or pickleball, I believe your injuries are feedback, not failures: invitations to listen, unlearn, and rebuild with intention. Whether your dream is to eliminate pain, prepare for pregnancy, return to play, or reconnect to your body, I blend science, intuition, and integrative health medicine principles to guide you back to natural movement and true vitality.Show More

Jenay Aiksnoras, E-RYT500, M.S. Counseling has been teaching Yoga since 2005. Jenay's story began on a farm in Connecticut. She grew up actively engaging outdoors. When she moved to Boston for college, her love of the outdoors drew her to her school's outing club. A class audit during her undergraduate studies introduced her to the practice of yoga, untimately helping her discover the key to reducing physical pain and feeling well while playing outside. At that time there were few places to practice. She explored various studios and lineages including svarupa, vinyasa and Iyengar. Through consistent practice, Yoga asana helped to heal back pain resulting from bulging discs and scoliosis. It wasn't until she began practicing in New York with Amy Pearce-Hayden that she truly began to understand the depth of yoga. Jenay believes that asana, like every limb of the eight (Asta Anga) is just one aspect of the practice. To access Yoga you must address the entire system. During every practice she guides you'll be directed to engage in svadhyaya, consider sankalpa and connect with your Self.Show More

I have been doing spiritual activations and meditations for over five years. My journey of transformation began in 2019. I started to receive the codes of christ consciousness and have been sharing these codes with others since. I have studied many healing modalities such as Venusian healing arts, reiki, electromagnetic frequency healing and theta healing. I hold ceremonial space for others with the sisterhood of the rose. I began spiritual activations in 2022 with a small client base. I began connecting to my higher self and receiving the guidance to start using my gifts to facilitate meditations and healings through plasma light. I have attuned my body and minds eye to connect with the epoch on the earth on Atlantis. A time when the elemental frequencies were at there potency with healing potential. As I studied these techniques with my higher self I noticed a dramatic difference in my body and organs. I work with others in my combined training with healing modalities and meditation to facilitate plasma frequency healings. This increases cellular memory in the body and restores youth codes. I help others to activate there gifts with there higher self. These are called higher-self activations.Show More

Forest Bathing
I didn't come to this work through a classroom— came to it through the land. Living in the mountains around Lake Tahoe, I started spending time with the plants in a different way. Not just seeing them, but learning them. Harvesting, sitting, listening. That turned into foraging, then into distillation, then into creating medicine I could actually feel working in my own body Over time, this became a practice of slowing down and remembering— how to care for the body, how to regulate the nervous system, how to come back to something real. I've studied herbalism and plant-based formulation, and trained in distillation with Ann Harman, but most of what l offer comes from direct experience working with plants through the seasons, making medicine by hand, and using it in my own daily rituals. This work is inspired by the belief that the body knows how to heal when it's supported properly. Plants, earth, breath, and intention all play a role in that. Whether it's through forest therapy, aromatherapy, plant medicine, or ritual, what l offer is a space for people to slow down, reconnect, and feel supported in their body again.Show More
