Pouring the tea.

This is Numu (Northern Paiute) and Wašiw (Washoe) homeland, part of a Great Basin region also connected to the Newe (Western Shoshone) and Nuwu (Southern Paiute) peoples. The Reno-Sparks Indian Colony, the Pyramid Lake Paiute Tribe, and the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California carry that relationship forward today. We visit with respect for their past, present, and future connection to this land.
