North Lake Tahoe

This is Wašiw (Washoe) homeland. The Washoe people have stewarded Da ow a ga, the lake, and the surrounding mountains since time immemorial, and the Washoe Tribe of Nevada and California continues that relationship today. We visit with respect for their past, present, and future connection to this place.
