North Tahoe Public Utility District

North Tahoe PUD provides water, wastewater and recreation to Kings Beach, Tahoe Vista, Carnelian Bay, Cedar Flat and Agate Bay, from the Nevada state line at Crystal Bay to Dollar Hill. The Recreation and Parks department has been serving the community since 1968.

Their mission: to serve North Lake Tahoe by providing exceptional water, wastewater, and recreational resources. They own and run North Tahoe Regional Park, the Tahoe Vista Recreation Area, the North Tahoe Event Center in downtown Kings Beach, several public beaches, and a community garden. Their programme runs all year and most of it costs very little. Free Toddler Time twice a week, free Golden Hour socials for over 55s every Tuesday, Jazzercise six mornings a week, martial arts with a free trial week, and a monthly hands-on workshop at the community garden.
